This year there are twenty-one students in the class.  Ten students are in Year One and eleven are in Year Two.  We have been studying ‘People Who Help Us’ and are looking forward to our excursion tomorrow.  We are visiting the Fire Station and the Police Station.  We are very excited about going.  I am keen to hear from any of my students.  Perhaps you could visit our blog and let me know what you enjoyed about the excursion.

By the way, have you been singing the Gumboot Song at home? I am still to be heard humming or singing the words to the song, I think my family are getting sick of hearing the tune!  However I love it.  I hope you do too.

Hi Mrs Gibbs
I liked it when we heard the sirens and piled up on the fire truck. Then when we went to the police station, we looked at a police car with a camera at the front and back. It was funny because you could see people from the front that were at the back. Then we went upstairs and tried some police suits on. It was fun. I liked my police bag. It had heaps of cool things.
